message auto reply in android application

Hi,

This tutorial takes you through to create an android application that helps you/business people to automatically reply a customized message by messaging app, email or whatsapp application.

 Its assumed that basic understanding on how to create a simple android application.

Activities present, There are only two activities present.

1) One activity to list the schedules created

2) Other to create a schedule.

Here schedule meaning that any appointment or you are being part of some other meeting. For example, you are participating in a meeting to explain about your company or about business. another can be you are on the way to office and would not like to get distracted from what are you doing right now. How ever, you would like to let the caller know about status via some means.This is what this application does for you.

It works as follows,

1) Create a schedule using create activity. alternatively you can create an event in android calender or google calender (Data should be enable on phone to work with google caelender).

  Input start date, time, end date time and message you would like to send to caller. once done click on create button. This will create an event in android calender.

If you creating using android/google calender, make sure that you select show me as busy, if not message would not be sent, as it gives impression that you would attend the call.

Here the how create screen would look like

2)Once done you can see the schedule listed on listing. Here is how listing would look like.

I have taken screen shot of activity design and hence you would able to find any data.

How it works:

1)  Suppose you have a created an event from 15:00 o clock to 16:00 o clock dated 21/01/2015 on google calender and you selected as busy while creating the event.

if any of your friend or anyone gave a call to you, in the same timing, the call will be disconnected and a SMS will be sent with the events title and your location with additional message, that i would call you back.

2) You have another event from 16:00 o clock to 17:00 o clock dated 21/01/2015 using create schedule, This works in similar manner except only the customized message will be sent.
